OLGA tar removal system
The OLGA tar removal system is composed out of classic process equipment. It's innovation lies in the application, the process phylosophy and the use of special scrubbing oils. OLGA is the acronym for OiL GAs scrubber. The OLGA scrubbing technology is very robust and flexible, resulting in reliable operation and excellent efficiency.

Process engineering package
We will have to investigate your technology to make a perfect fit. Optimal integration of OLGA in the plants process will result in a efficient system with low energy consumption and low operational costs. A Process Engineering Package is often used in a technical & commercial feasibility study or for a permit request. To our opinion the best benefit is that optimising the process in front of the detailed engineering, will smoothen & fasten the realisation phase and save time & money.
Project realisation
Realising a gasification plant together requires a dedicated project team, efficient communication and mutual effort. Although we are flexible in our scope, we would like to keep the solids removal and tar removal is in one hand. For a standard OLGA system this means that all critical equipment is delivered within our scope and responsibility. Further, our scope is based upon maximal preparation in our own production shop so that on site work can be limited to a minimum. In practice we deliver the gas side cyclone, OLGA columns and ESP. The oil circulation systems will be delivered on a complete packaged skid. This skid, which includes all piping, pumps, heat exchangers etc. is fully assembled in our work shop to minimise on-site installation time. The delivery will also include all necessary instrumentation and is automatically controlled by an easy operable PLC system.
OLGA will be delivered with a full engineering package made by dedicated engineers. Our engineers work with parametric design software which gives you a 3D view (see pictures on the right). The project will be managed by a dedicated and experienced project manager. Specialised technicians will assist you at commissioning and start up of the plant.
